I am visiting kashmir in near future and intend to stay at pehalgam for 1 night. I have gathered that in pehalgam there are two styaing options (i) Lalipora village (ii) in market place. out of these two places, which is the best one. how much time is taken from lalipora village to reach market/taxi stand. whether taxi stand is in market area.

I had been to Pahalgam in Apr. Was there for 2 days. yes the mtaxi stand is near the market. I found market area a bit noisy (even though it is less noisier than Dal lake road) I prefer non crowded hotels. So I stayed at hotel Pahalgam which is on the bank of river lidder. If your buget is a bit higher then this hotel is worth it. Dam good location!
